The association is looking to bolster its website's directory this month. The Kaikohe website is looking to improve its exposure of the town s assets. The Kaikohe Business Associ- ation is now updating all directory listings on the Kaikohe website. Members of the community are asked to look at their listing and advise the association of any changes that may be needed to ensure the website is up to date and accurate. The Kaikohe website is receiv- ing hits from both locals and travellers. And the aim is to make Kaikohe more appealing with a proactive approach of showing others, what the town has avail- able and the services provided in Kaikohe by Kaikohe people. Those who have not listed their business or organisation are encouraged to log on to kaikohe.co.nz to add to the list. The process is a simple five- minute procedure: A reply email with a password will allow new members to update their own information at their convenience. Operators of local attractions are encouraged to email extra details along with photos for inclusion in a feature page of what to do during a stay in Kaikohe. Interested individuals promot- ing an event can register it free of charge. The association s goal is to have the website updated with the cor- rect information by end of February. Front page stories will be updated regularly. People in the area with a great story, experience or something really worth sharing are asked to send them through to add to the page -- Approval will be at the business association s discretion. All paid up association members will get a further benefit on the website as their listing will be able to feature a photograph of their activity, premises or service. If anyone would like the enhan- ced feature and are not currently a member, they are asked to con- tact the business association. A visit can be arranged or an email sent to you with a member- ship application, invoice and a copy of member benefits. Paid advertising is also available. All those that register their business, log in to update the cur- rent information, or even those that join up to receive the regular Kaikohe updates in the month of February will go into the draw to win a $50 Morning Tea Hamper Go to kaikohe.co.nz for more.
