After 17 years at Keri- keri Medical Centre, Nigel will be providing rural medical services to the Northland com- munity through Bay of Islands Hospital. He has been integral in the growth and suc- cess of the Kerikeri Medical Centre. Claire Russell is tak- ing a different road after 11 years at the centre. She is moving with her family and horses to Cambridge. A new female doctor will join the practice next year to replace Claire. Doctors Eloise Caswell and Anita Patel, well- known members of the team, will be providing extra cover over the sum- mer months. Martin Hadler will be joining the practice in January. Dr Hadler is moving back to New Zealand from Australia with his wife and family. He was born in Eng- land and grew up in Palmerston North, com- pleting his medical degree at Otago Univer- sity in 1985. He is looking forward to being part of the com- munity, while enjoying his passion of running, cycling and the outdoor lifestyle.
