Tahi Wai was named supreme winner at the Northland YES Awards on Saturday night. Tahi Wai have created a new bottled water brand, using sipper bottles made from biodegradable material. Tahi Wai have been taking part in the Lion Foundation Young Enterprise Scheme throughout 2011.The programme gives secondary students the chance to set up and run a business for a year. Students write a business plan and source start-up capital, before creating a new product or service and marketing it to the public. Tahi Wai will go on to represent Northland at the National YES Awards in December. Regional partner Top Energy congratulates all award winners for their achievements.
