After two years the show is back by popular demand. To the man of the house- hold -- got a bit lazy about those chores lately? Well sharpen up and get shipshape because Husband of the Year is back. The Waipapa & Dis- tricts Lions Club will be holding the popular Hus- band of the Year show on November 19 at the Kerikeri Primary School hall. Two years ago the show was a huge success. The husbands and partners who took part had heaps of fun while tackling tasks their wives or partners usually do in the home. Entries closed on Octo- ber 14 and eliminations will be held on November 12 to find the deserving finalists. There are wonderful prizes to be won. The winner will be crowned on the night and receive a weekend trip away for two. All prizes have been donated by local business people. Proceeds go to the Declan Cooper Appeal to assist a local family to buy a mobility vehicle for young Declan s wheel- chair.
