ESSURE is a permanent birth control method that is short, gentle, requiring no cutting or general anaesthesia, with rapid recovery time, no hormones, and could be done without a hospital visit. It involves placing soft flexible microinserts into the tubes. If you have heavy periods also then either balloon ablation can be done at the same time, or a good alternative for contraception and improving periods is the Mirena intrauterine device that is hormonal and easier to insert. The Rugby World Cup roadshow was welcomed with enthusiasm by Pahia on July 28 with a cultural perform- ance, breakfast on the water- front and a great paint it red'' turnout of children. The crowd warmed to TV One's breakfast presenter Tamati Coffey, who couldn't resist the temptation to try his poi whirling skills. The Bay of Islands is promoted as the birthplace of the nation for the Rugby World Cup and offers a special welcome to teams from Canada, Japan and Tonga who will be based in Northland. Some 25,000 visitors are expected to tour Northland. Northland 2011 is the group co-ordinating Northland's preparations, planning and operational delivery for the Rugby World Cup -- a joint collaboration between the region's councils and the Northland Rugby Union. It is also supported by local economic, iwi, sporting, busi- ness, tourism and other groups. Businesses, schools, workplaces and the wider Northland community are being asked to go red to show support for visiting teams Canada, Japan and Tonga. More than 300 banners will be installed late August in Kerikeri, Waitangi/Paihia, Whangarei and key transport hubs, including Bay of Islands airport and wharves at Paihia, Opua and Russell. Kerikeri is adopting the Tongans as their team. The town will be painting it red as the Canadians, Japanese and Tongan teams visit. Businesses are encouraged to attract the following of rugby fans and tourists dur- ing this time. Shop windows need to be dressed and staff are reminded to provide their best smile and service, the Kerikeri Business Associ- ation advises.
