Meet the BOI Golf Club Great golf played in great weather Once again, the autumn weather was great for the Bay of Island s ladies golf. Forty-four ladies took part in three divisions, with Ann Hathaway claiming best gross; Shona Work, best net; and Lee Munro won sec- ond net. The stunning weather continued for the 29 nine-holers at the golf club. It proved to be a very special day for Sue Radley and Oriel Barnes whose shots went in the hole from the rough and from a bunker respect- ively. The winner of the day was Dawn Armstrong with a net of 31. Golf day for Chch Time is running out but spaces are still available for the Classic Hits for Christchurch Ambrose Golf Tournament. The event will be held onMay6andisasix- person team ambrose. Both affiliated and non- affiliated players, men and women are welcome. Shotgun start 11am (registration from 9.30am), entry fee $300 per team or $50 per per- son (golf only). Entries close on May 1. A fabulous dinner and fundraising auction will follow the day of golf. Pre-dinner drinks will start from 6.30pm with the dinner/fundraising auction from 7pm onwards. Cost $50 per person.
