"The new technology is the best 'non surgical facelift' treatment I've experienced," says Bridget, a qualified beauty therapist with 10 years experience who established Kerikeri's skin therapy clinic, The Treatment in 2004. "I've been researching the whole area of natural anti-aging processes and I was thrilled to learn about Hyperbaric Oxygen Facial Technology -- which I believe is the most impressive, completely natural, anti-aging enhancement alternative available. Via Infusions of natural oxygen the no-pain treatments results in instant plumping to the skin, which immediately looks fresher and more rested -- and as we know, that means we looking younger", says Bridget. To get technical for a moment, hyperbaric oxygen therapy is the medical use of oxygen at a level higher than atmospheric pressure. In the world of beauty therapy this has been medically proven to increase cell division and provide a lift to the skin dramatically reducing wrinkles and lines while promoting brighter, firmer skin. This natural, oxygen-based beauty technology is now available at The Treatment, near the Heritage Bypass where Bridget Freeland has established a relaxing and completely private beauty therapy clinic. "The programme we recommend is a series of six weekly consecutive facials, with a "top-up" treatment once a month. Unlike many facials, each treatment is quick and easy -- just under an hour, no messy hair-do, or climbing in and out of clothes. This is about outcomes, not pampering! If the reception to Bridget's introductory sessions are anything to go by the women of Northland love the idea of this natural-therapy alternative with 99% of those attending instantly agreeing to sign up for the full programme. WOW!!! How can you pass this up, instant lift, fine lines disappear, try for yourself..... Photo: MAARTEN HOLL By MARTIN KAY Former Maori Party MP Hone Harawira says momentum is building for him to launch a new party to fight the next election but the final decision rests with his Te Tai Tokerau electorate. He says scores of disaf- fected Maori Party members are leading the charge for him to start his own party, including nearly 50 at a support meeting in Wellington last week. Mr Harawira was to attend a meeting on the formation of a new party in Auckland on Friday, the latest in a series of hui in the North Island. He has been invited to meetings to discuss a new party in the Wai- ariki electorate -- regarded by the Maori Party as a stronghold -- and others in New Ply- mouth, Hamilton, Wha- ngarei and the Far North. There has been mount- ing speculation that Mr Harawira would form his own party after he left the Maori Party over its support for the Marine and Coastal Area Bill. He confirmed on Friday that he was involved in talks but said he would not start his own party unless his electorate -- which he now represents as an independent -- agreed. There's intense inter- estinitbutit'llbea while yet before I make an announcement on whether or not it's going to go ahead because I have a constituency to look after and if they're not happy with me work- ing with anything out- side of the north then that won't happen,'' he says. He says many of those urging him to start his own party were Maori Party members, includ- ing 48 of the 50 people at a meeting in Wellington this week. I'd say probably of the 48, 45 would have stood up and said, I don't like the way you're being treated, I don't agree with what the party's doing on the foreshore and seabed, I don't like the fact that they don't listen to us anymore. I'm leaving the party and if you launch, I'm in'.'' Mr Harawira says he hadn't spoken directly to former Green MP Sue Bradford, who has also been closely linked to the formation of a new left- wing party, but indicated he intended to meet her. He says he hoped to make a final decision by the start of April, which would allow enough time to organise before the November 26 election. Any party Mr Hara- wira leads would be restricted by a deal he made with the Maori Party when he left, which prevents him from standing in the Tamaki Makaurau, Waiariki, Te Tai Hauauru and Te Tai Tonga seats it holds. In return, the party has promised not to stand in Te Tai Tokerau.
