The Bay of Islands SPCA needs to find homes for numerous an- imals. Gracie is a sweet- natured, six-month-old, brown and black, chi- huahua-cross. She was handed in to the SPCA by her owner who could no longer afford to care for her. Muppet is a good- natured, 11-month-old, cream, cross-breed pup. He was handed in by his owner who was no longer able to care for him. Rusty is a lovely 18-month-old golden labrador-cross male who was also surrendered by his owner. Jack is a white, one- year-old whippet-cross with a tan patch over his eye who was handed in by a member of the pub- lic who found him stray. The SPCA says he is a real character''.
